The Sadie Hawkins Dance is coming up this Saturday for our middle school students. See information below about common questions. Drinks and snack donations are still welcomed!
-Tickets are on sale for $8 in Mrs. Rainey's Room before school and will be available at the door for $10.
-Dress is casual (country/western theme) but check the weather because the event is outside.
-Drop off and Pick up will be in the back SA circle. Carpooling is encouraged!
-Volunteers/Chaperones- do not park in the spaces in the back circle against the annex building.

Students in Mrs. Singleyβs 8th grade ELA classes participated in a Socratic Seminar. During a Socratic Seminar, students have a formal discussion over a text. Students think critically as they articulate their own thoughts in response to discussion questions and in response to the thoughts of their classmates.
Students in Mrs. King's Spanish Class learn about Hispanic Heritage Month by dressing up for skits, group work, and work with library where other students can learn about the Hispanic culture.
Students in Mrs. King's Spanish class making maracas and ponchos and participating in a conga line to Gloria Estefan while learning about Hispanic Heritage Month.
Middle school students in Mrs. Singleyβs ELA classes are increasing their writing proficiency and creativity by participating in 5 minute quick writes each class period. Following the quick write, three students share a favorite entry with the class.
IMPORTANT AP TESTING INFORMATION:
Tomorrow, Friday, November 4th is the last day to turn in AP Cancellation Forms. The form must be signed by both the parent and the student. Any exams canceled after the 3:00pm deadline tomorrow, will have a $40 fine.
High School Picture Makeup Day has been RESCHEDULED to Wednesday, December 1st.

Congratulations to Director Casey Dyksterhouse, the cast, and crew of our One Act Play on winning the Region 1-AA Championship yesterday at Cook High School. Their performance of Little Shop of Horrors was amazing!
Performers Cole Ridenour and Emily Sumner were chosen as All Star Cast award winners. Ellie Griffin was selected Best Supporting Actress and Colin Connery was named Best Supporting Actor.
The group will now begin preparations for the State Championship, which will be held on Saturday, November 20th at Mary Persons High School in Forsyth, GA.
