If you are a teacher or a parent of a high school student in the state of Georgia, pay attention!!! The state recently unveiled an amazing resource offering free tutoring for high school students in Georgia. Tutoring is available Monday-Sunday in all four core content areas with certified (in that specific subject) teachers. Dr. Charity Kinneer and Mr.Seth Kinneer are both available tutors. Students can sign up for tutoring by going to whatever platform they use, infinite campus, power school, etc. If you’d like a quick video demonstrating how to sign up for a tutoring session please email Dr. Charity Kinneer at kinneerc@tcitys.org.

Congratulations goes out to THS Seniors Dallas Hill and Cole Shaw on being voted the Thomasville/Thomas County Hall of Fame Bill Raney Athletes of the Year for Thomasville High School. Dallas is a member of the THS Football Cheerleading Squad and the Lady Bulldogs Basketball and Soccer teams. Dallas was recently chosen as an FCA All American Cheerleader and offered a position as an FCA Camp instructor. She has lettered in Cheer and Basketball for 4 years and Soccer for 3. At this time Dallas is undecided on her college choice! Cole is a 4 year letter winner for the Bulldogs Football team who has been named the Positive Athlete for Southwest Georgia in Football, selected to the All-State team as a Junior and All-Region during both his Sophomore and Junior years. All THS and MPMS Coaches voted on nominations that were made by all the high school head coaches. The criteria used for this selection was as follows: - Class of 2024 - Outstanding contributions to his/her teams - Displays strong character, leadership, and community involvement - Selections are based on achievement up to this point We congratulate Dallas and Cole on their selection! These two great representatives of THS will be honored at the Hall of Fame Banquet on Thursday, November 9th! Go Dogs! #fortheT

They are usually hidden from view, but shoot out to capture prey. Also, squid can change color, they swim backwards by pushing water out from their bag-like bodies and they can swim faster than any other invertebrate.
