❤️💛Staff Spotlight: Ms. Kristen Strausser…6th Grade ELA, Scholars Academy 📚
Originally from North Canton, Ohio, Ms. Strausser holds a Bachelor's degree in Middle Childhood Education with concentrations in English Language Arts and Social Studies from Bowling Green State University. Additionally, she has received endorsements in Reading, ESOL and Gifted Learners.
Furthering her expertise, Ms. Strausser earned a Master's degree in Special Education from Kennesaw State University. With 16 years of teaching experience, including 7 years in Thomasville City Schools, she continues to make a significant impact on students' lives.
Outside the classroom, Ms. Strausser enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her 8-year-old daughter, Addison, who is in 3rd grade. A fun fact about her is that she was part of The Jazz Dolls, a competitive twirling group, and had the unforgettable experience of twirling in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade when she was in 6th grade.
Ms. Strausser is thrilled to be part of the Thomasville City Schools community and loves working with our incredible students, fostering their academic growth and nurturing a lifelong love of learning.

Ms. Rinehart’s six graders always start their study of history with a very important date…their own birthdays! Students research important events and people who share their birthday and present their projects in class.
