Our Princess Program will be included in the 2024 Miss Thomasville Pageant where they will be announced and have time to shine on the stage with our 2023 Miss Thomasville.

We hope everyone keeps reading this summer! On Thursday, May 30 from 5:00-6:00 PM, bring your kids to The Bookshelf for a drop-in Summer Reading Party! You'll get 10% off your child's school summer reading books, and there will be other fun goodies for sale. You can also pick up your FREE Bookshelf Summer Reading Passports for adults and kids! With a Bookshelf Summer Reading Passport, your child will win fun prizes and a $10 Bookshelf gift card if they read all the books on it. If you read all the books on the adult Summer Reading Passport, you'll win a $10 Bookshelf gift card. Celebrate the end of the school year and kick off summer reading with them!





As we reflect on this past school year, we have had so many memories of learning, growth, and fun! Thank you to all of our parents, students, teachers, and staff for making this such a great year. Enjoy the summer!

♦️SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT♦️
Please see the information presented at the Board of Education meeting this past Tuesday night. These maps show the plans for student locations for the 2024-2025 school year as we continue to work through the construction process.
Main points are as follows:
- All 6-8 grade academic classes will be held on the MPMS Campus.
- All 9-12 grade academic classes will be held on the THS Campus on Hansell St.
- All Band and Drama students (6-12) will take these classes on the THS Campus
- All Strings and Dance students (6-12) will take these classes on the MPMS Campus
- Students will be bussed from one campus to the other for these electives.
- 6-8 grade students taking Band and Drama will be escorted to and from those areas on the THS campus

Congratulations to our very own Ruth Augustin!! Ms. Augustin is our Thomasville City Schools Teacher of the Year and will represent our district well!



🌞Happy Helping -Georgia's Summer Food Service Program will begin summer meals starting May 28th through July 19th. 🌞 Thank you too Thomasville YMCA for participating!
Meals will be provided to all children 18 and under without charge.

This week at Scott Elementary has been filled with celebrating all of our students' hard work and achievements. Today, we recognized three fifth grade students who read the most words during this school year. Special thanks to The Bookshelf for donating gift cards to keep these students reading all summer long!

Scott Elementary Pre-K teachers would like to give a very special thank you to our very own Thomasville High School Early Childhood students for assisting with Pre-K's EOY Honors Program and Carnival Celebration! These aspiring educators displayed excellent work ethic and professionalism! We have no doubt that they will go on to become amazing teachers!
